Compensation: $70,000–$90,000 base salary + commission (commensurate with experience)

Position Summary
We are seeking a Business Development Manager to join our team and lead efforts to expand SAG’s presence within a designated territory. This is a field-facing role focused on growing our client base by building strong relationships with insurance carriers, MGAs, brokers, and other key industry stakeholders.
The ideal candidate has a background in the insurance industry or a related field (such as restoration, engineering, or forensic consulting), experience in B2B sales or client development, and thrives in a flexible, fast-paced environment. You’ll be responsible for generating new business, managing a pipeline, and becoming the face of SAG within your market.
Key Responsibilities
- Cultivate and manage relationships with insurance carriers, TPAs, brokers, and industry partners
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in your region
- Conduct in-person and virtual meetings, presentations, and networking events
- Collaborate with SAG leadership and internal teams to align services with client needs
- Maintain accurate CRM data and provide regular reporting on sales activities and pipeline status
- Attend industry events, conferences, and client visits—travel will be required
- Represent SAG’s brand and values in every interaction with professionalism and integrity
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of successful sales or business development experience
- Background in the property & casualty insurance industry or adjacent industries such as restoration, engineering, legal, or forensic consulting
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated, independent, and capable of managing a sales pipeline
- Comfortable with CRM tools and reporting
- Willing and able to travel regionally and nationally as needed
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
